AC/DC (Powerage) 1978

AC/DC (Powerage) 1978

Front Cover

Back Cover

Powerage is touted by many AC/DC fans as being the best in the Bon Scott years. It's a great album, but personally I wouldn't go that far and say it's the best of that Era. Underrated...yes. Best...no. Having said that, this is one I very rarely play anymore. There's really not a whole lot to talk about here other than that the 3 best tracks are down below.

Fave Songs: Rock N' Roll Damnation, Riff Raff and Sin City.

If I listened to this as much as I do other AC/DC albums I would have much more to say. So, moving on...

Album cover ftw! This one scared the shit out of me as a kid. Angus getting electrocuted is enough to scar any kid that doesn't know any better. The back cover is the UK version of the vinyl. Take notice that the track list is completely different with a song being omitted all together. Rock N' Roll Damnation was never included on the UK release and in it's place is Cold Hearted Man, which itself got replaced by the foremention song on the US release of Powerage.
