Gene Simmons Poster Insert

I had high hopes for Gene Simmons solo effort as well. At first, I only thought a handful of songs were solid and the rest average at best back in the day when it came out. Over the years this album just keeps getting better and better. It's not perfect, but it's pretty damn close and so much better than what I originally thought as a kid.

Gene definitely indulged himself in getting everyone he could think of to play on this record. It's loaded with with such notable players like Joe Perry (Aerosmith), Jeff "Skunk" Baxter (Doobie Brothers). Rick Neilsen (Cheap Trick), Bob Seaer, Michael Des Barres and Cher. Of course she would be involved since he was banging her at the time. But the biggest "what the fuck" moment is reserved for Donna Summer and Helen Reddy lending out a helping hand. But probably the biggest head trip for you guys would be that Katey Sagal did background vocals here. Yes, THAT Katey Sagal from Married With Children, Futurama and Sons Of Anarchy fame.

Fave Songs: Radioactive, Burning Up With Fever, Tunnel Of Love, Living In Sin and Always Near You / Nowhere To Hide. MVP goes to Radioactive. Duh. :)

Freebie trend continues with a Poster insert that is 1/4th of a larger poster that connects with the other 3 solo album posters ala a jigsaw puzzle.

Best Cover of the 4 solo albums without a doubt.
